Pokémon Sun & Moon sem dúvida está sendo um dos jogos mais aguardados do ano! E hoje, na Gamescom, evento que acontece na Alemanha, foi revelado um novo Pokémon, dos tipos Fire/Dragon. Seu nome é Turtonator e é visto batalhando com outros pokémon semelhantes, tais como Torkoal e Tirtouga/Carracosta. Suas informações já se encontram disponíveis no site oficial de Sun & Moon! Por viver em vulcões, alimentando-se de enxofre e outros materiais encontrados perto de crateras vulcânicas, a carapaça do Turtonator está revestida por uma camada de materiais explosivos composta, principalmente, por enxofre. Quando algo atinge este Pokémon, os chifres da sua carapaça libertam faíscas e provocam uma explosão!
Nas áreas circundantes das crateras vulcânicas, este Pokémon disfarça-se de rocha e aguarda pelas suas presas. No momento em que a presa pisa a sua carapaça, o Turtonator atinge-a com a sua própria cauda, provocando uma explosão!
As explosões provocadas pela carapaça do Turtonator são libertadas através de um orifício situado no meio da parte frontal do corpo deste Pokémon. Este é o ponto fraco do Turtonator. Os ataques que acertem na sua barriga irão causar danos graves.
O Shell Trap é um movimento que apenas o Turtonator é capaz de aprender. Graças a este movimento, este Pokémon pode criar uma armadilha no início da jogada e, caso o Turtonator seja atingido por um ataque físico de um adversário nessa mesma jogada, o Shell Trap desencadeia uma explosão que causará danos extremamente graves ao seu adversário.
Ademais, durante o evento, foi visto uma Gameplay da Battle Royal, onde Pikachu demonstrou um novo Z-Move, do tipo Normal, chamado Hyper Sprintangriff em Alemão, traduzido como Hyper Sprint Attack, em Inglês.
